Industry 4.0 is leading us to an era where the amount and diversity of industrial data is greater than ever. The large amounts of complex data also offer new opportunities for developing and implementing advanced process monitoring approaches that can lead to further improvements in product quality and production efficiency. This workshop aims to discussing current challenges and trends in process monitoring in the views of industry and academia.
The Industry Session will focus on the current challenges and practical applications of applying monitoring schemes in production systems for Industry 4.0. Furthermore, potential benefits in the plant shop floors will be addressed and discussed. Alongside Francisco, Pedro Delgado (Bosch Car Multimedia), will present the role of data science in product and process development and José Ataíde (The Navigator Company), will give a talk titled From data to productivity.
The following Academic Session will provide insights on recent proposals and solutions to address the characteristics of industrial data and the complexity of systems and products to be monitored, including the new additive processes and large processing industrial.
Both sessions will end with round tables to stimulate the discussion between the speakers and audience.
