MES Architecture for More Resilient, Responsive, and Agile Manufacturing

In today’s extreme uncertainty, manufacturers seek a way to be ready for anything. That’s only possible when MES and other plant floor software applications are easy to manage and configure centrally, deploy quickly, and upgrade smoothly, even site-specific options. Leading companies like Lumentum, an innovator in photonics, have focused on those capabilities in their selection and rollout of enterprise MES. They make wafers, chips, modules, and assemblies in-house and also use contract manufacturers.

Watch this webinar to learn:

  • How modern, standard MES enables a company to grow through acquisitions and pursuing new markets
  • The value of an MES center of expertise (CoE) that supports rather than restricting each site’s unique capabilities
  • Why choosing whether to deploy on-prem, on a private cloud, public cloud, or hybrid is not a one-time event
  • The role of containerization in scaling, flexing, and ensuring system availability
  • How special MES DevOps supports standardization, harmonization, and product traceability across factories
